Convoy Group Update

One of the drivers on our February convoy, David, is currently working with the company Squire Locks. This family company dates back to the year 1780, and is known not only for producing high quality security products but also for its community involvement, supporting charities such as Band of Builders, LIFEBeat, and now, Convoy for Ukraine.

Adam and Guy took the time to drive from Cambridge to Featherstone with two of the ambulances which will be going on convoy, carrying lifesaving aid. Once they reached the Squire HQ they were greeted by CEO John Squire, who congratulated them and the charity for their dedication and admirable work. The group then took some photos before having lunch, over which they discussed the upcoming convoy and the vehicles. After lunch, Adam and Guy were given a private tour of the Squire factory, gaining insight into the lockmaking process.

Fundraising efforts are in full swing as February’s convoy draws increasingly near. In order to show support, you can donate to the charity’s fundraiser at: https://gofund.me/620fb9478

Many thanks to David, Adam, Guy and John, and Slava Ukraini!
